Pre-Dental Hygiene Curriculum

UNO cooperates with the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry at Lincoln by offering the non-professional courses which satisfy needed college hours for the baccalaureate program. Adviser: Dean’s office.

Applicants must have successfully completed the necessary course work which should also include a twelve credit hour concentration in an area of interest. Applications and all other required materials should be submitted by February 1. Applicants should have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, although the average GPA for the entering classes of the past 5 years has been 3.5 or better.

A 12-hour series (a 12-hour minor in one academic area) must be completed in a specific area of study. The courses taken in the 12-hour series must have the same course prefix for all courses being considered.
