Pre-Physical Therapy Curriculum
UNO cooperates with the Division of Physical Therapy in the School of Allied Health Professions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in offering courses and a pre-physical therapy curriculum which satisfies needed college hours for admission into the physical therapy program. An overall GPA of 3.0 with a minimum grade of “C-” in the following required courses is necessary for acceptance at the Medical Center. Adviser: Dean’s office.
The UNMC physical therapy program requires completion of a minimum of 90 credit hours and the GRE before beginning the three-year professional phase at UNMC.
Human Anatomy and Physiology (8 hours minimum)

Students are urged to select courses which are required in an undergraduate degree program. If a student will not complete an undergraduate degree, at least three upper level courses are required in a major area of study.
