Specialization in International Business
A specialization in International Business (IB) provides students with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for successful careers in the global business environment. Students who have opted to specialize in one of the functional areas of business (Finance, Real Estate, Business Law, Economics, Management, Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing), will be able to specialize in International Business as a double-specialization option. With this preparation, graduates will find employment in many manufacturing , service or knowledge-based industries with international markets, international suppliers, international sources of finance or an internationally diverse workforce.
For this specialization, students complete a total of 18 credit hours, including 12 credit hours in required courses, and six (6) credit hours in electives. The completion of specified courses in international business may be applied toward specialization requirements in other areas.

Special Topics in Marketing and Management with a global emphasis will also be offered on a regular basis.
A specialization in International Business will be available for only those CBA students who have specialized (or are specializing) in another CBA specialization such as Finance, Real Estate, Business Law, Economics, Management, Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. It is not available as a first specialization.
