Office of Civic & Social Responsibility (CSR)

The UNO Office of Civic & Social Responsibility (CSR) is dedicated to developing engaged community citizens and leaders of our communities. UNO believes service through engagement within the community is a vital component for the education and well-being of all students and the sustaining of a healthy community. The Office of Civic and Social Responsibility is locally and nationally recognized for the service impact of our volunteers through the Signature Days of Service; come join in with your friends and/or class and make a difference!

As the campus service resource center, CSR provides ongoing volunteer opportunities and nonprofit organization information for the university community to learn how they can serve in specific areas of interest. The CSR office is where student volunteers and staff will assist you in discovering your “choice” organization to support through your service efforts.  Other programs provided through the CSR office include: internships; the UNO’s Service Leaders program; consultation on service activities; and assistance in developing “seed projects” in collaboration with a nonprofit organization. Come join us…come learn, serve and lead the way! Stop by the office at WC209 or contact us 402-554-4083 or visit us www.unomaha.edu/scls.
