Pre-Physician Assistant Curriculum

Pre-physician assistant students must complete a bachelor’s degree, as well as the requirements below, before making application to the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Physician Assistant program.  When choosing a major to complement the pre-physician assistant curriculum, applicants are encouraged to explore areas of personal interest.  This may vary from a thorough investigation of the natural sciences to the social sciences and humanities.  In view of the rapidly broadening scope of medicine, a well-rounded education is considered optimum preparation.  Union College in Lincoln, NE also has a physician assistant program.  Persons interested in this program should contact them at 402.486.2527.
