This minor is intended to provide students with the background needed to incorporate the sustainability principles into their major field of study and their subsequent careers. Students interested in a minor in sustainability should meet with the Director of Environmental Studies to develop a plan of study.
The minor in sustainability requires:

One approved course in environmental science
Plus a minimum of 12 credit hours of advanced courses, selected from the following, provided those courses are not in the major field of study.
Courses can only be applied to one area.
An approved course in the economic and public policy aspects of sustainability
An approved course in the social and ethics dimensions of sustainability
An approved course in sustainability and natural resource management
A capstone experience in sustainability satisfied by completing
