Data Science Concentration

  • This concentration is an option within the B.S. Math degree.

This concentration is recommended for students interested in a career as a Data Science professional or to pursue graduate study in disciplines with a strong data analysis component.

The 15 hours of upper-level courses must include:

Cognate Area: 

One approved statistics course from outside the Math Department

AND one of the following: 

  •  Minor in Business Administration for Non-Business Majors
  •  Minor in Management Information Systems
  •  15 hours of an approved Cognate Area outside the Math Department
